Ampuversary Poem (thoughts one month out)

Lost, scared, alone

You found me, against all odds

You sat in the road and cried with me

Then there came anger at the Others who put me there

And made me what I was.

A long ride, a long rest, newness all around

What is this?

This is home, and love, and always.

Now we have more newness, a different way of being

New body to learn

New ways to walk

New limits to find

But…

This is home, and love, and always.
