Evelyn is Dakota’s bulldog. She belongs to him. That wasn’t the plan when we brought her home, but it’s how things have worked out. Evelyn is the opposite of Dakota in every way. She was a planned pregnancy, born in a hospital with happy attendants, raised in a warm home with children and toys–and plenty of food. Evelyn is a spoiled brat.
Dakota is tremendously devoted to Evelyn. He has never been an only dog, and we don’t for a minute think he would be good at it. Evelyn provides the comic relief the family all need, and she provides Dakota with a reason to haul himself up and engage with his day. Without her, I truly think Dakota would vegetate and pine away.
So here are some pictures of beautiful Evelyn.
Aw. She IS a darling. Especially that last pose! LOL!
Yes Carmen, Evelyn believes in flaunting it. She is neither demure nor feminine, but she’s sturdy!
